Let’s sip! QT has launched an outdoor summer high tea featuring bottomless jugs of Aperol
Sure, treating yourself to a fancy high tea is a fun activity … but so is knocking back spritzes in the sun with your pals. If you’re sitting there thinking ‘how great would it be if the two were combined’, then we have news for you. QT Gold Coast has launched a new Summer High Tea – and it involves bottomless (yes, bottomless!) Aperol and plenty of sunshine. Just BYO pals.
If you associate high tea with earl grey and dainty cucumber sandwiches, then it’s time to experience high tea the QT way – trust us, doing it with bottomless sips and delicious hand-held snacks in the summer sun is way more fun! Locals can now enjoy QT’s Summer High Tea, served on its newly renovated poolside terrace and outdoor bar, until the end of February.
So, what will you be snacking on and sipping? The high tea features an elegant three-tier stand arranged with summer-inspired sweets and savouries like mini brioche BLT poppers with roasted-garlic aioli, house-smoked salmon and avocado macarons, apricot melbas layered with pistachio cream, coconut crumble, apricot and tonka-bean jelly, mini ice-cream cones stuffed with frozen mango parfait and lots more deliciousness. You can enjoy this fancy spread with tea and espresso coffee (for $49 each) or you can live your absolute best life (do it) and add on two hours of bottomless Aperol jugs, for an extra $25 per person.
