Soak up stellar sounds from more than 65 artists at this year’s Blues on Broadbeach

It’s a favourite on the annual calendar and a time of year when the heart of Broadbeach lights up with good vibes and even better music. Yep, you guessed it – Blues on Broadbeach is back! After an outstanding edition last year, this year’s event promises to be better than ever with a line-up of more than 65 truly talented musos from across the country and lands afar.

More than 65 artists across 16 stages is what you can expect at this year’s Blues on Broadbeach, which is running from May 18–21. The full program has just dropped and includes the likes of Blues favourite and Nashville-based Tommy Emmanuel, homegrown hero Don Walker, 26-piece party-starters Melbourne Ska Orchestra and acclaimed entertainers Emma Donovan & the Putbacks. Among the fresh artists added to the crop is multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter powerhouse Minnie Marks, as well as Brisbane’s three-time Australian Blues Music Award winners Blues Arcadia.

This year’s Blues on Broadbeach will also welcome a world-first performance from the electric Marcus Scott & The Bo-Keys, with former Tower of Power frontman Marcus Scott on lead vocals. Led by Emmy Award-winning and Grammy-nominated composer Scott Bomar, The Bo-Keys feature some of Memphis’ most legendary soul masters. This performance will be a must-see!

The full program is now live at the Blues on Broadbeach website with four jam-packed days of live rhythm and blues music. Making the whole event even better is the fact that it’s free!
