The cancellation announcement is a disappointing blow for those looking forward to the tenth BLEACH* Festival, which was set to take place this month from August 12 –22. Due to the recent escalation of COVID-19 restrictions across Southeast Queensland, organisers made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s event. The festival organisers are contacting all ticket-holders to arrange refunds and you can access further information on the BLEACH* Festival website here.

While this is a devastating blow for the Queensland arts scene, we’re very excited to hear that BLEACH* Festival will be returning in 2022. We are sure it will be bigger and better than ever, with the support of the Gold Coast community behind it. Remember, while cancellations of festivals like this are disappointing for us as spectators, the hit to the local arts scene is particularly difficult.
