The Gold Coast EAT/drink Awards follow in the footsteps of the Brisbane awards that have been running since 2007, and recognise the amazing talent of local epicurean entrepreneurs.
The EAT/drink Awards launched with our beloved map magazine in 2007 as Brisbane’s first entirely reader-voted food awards. Following map’s retirement in 2014, The Weekend Edition has continued to grow the awards and celebrate the best places in Brisbane and the Gold Coast to eat and drink. Be it the lazy corner cafe, award-winning restaurant, latest bar or food truck, The Weekend Edition’s EAT/drink Awards prove there’s a place to eat and drink for everyone.
Since launching on the Gold Coast in December 2014, The Weekend Edition supports and showcases talent in the hospitality industry and these awards, now in their fourth year, ensure its readers can vote for their favourite locale to eat and drink.
