Raw homewares with handmade flare from Zakkia
Bringing the unique quality of the handmade process to life, boutique homewares label, Zakkia, has released its latest collection featuring a series of understated yet inherently unique pieces for the home.
The new collection, ZAKKIA 16:02, takes the Sydney-based brand back to its roots by handcrafting raw durable materials to create a series of pieces, each with its own versatile qualities, designed to carry through time and everyday use. Materials like natural terrazzo, sustainable woods and iron have added texture to Zakkia’s iconic clean shapes and minimalist lines, with a number of new designs added to the popular speckled ceramic range.
The simple colour palettes are met with a splash of Scandanavian heritage, allowing the natural materials to shine throughout the range, which includes home decor pieces, tablewear, pots and vases made from concrete, brass and terracotta, wall hooks and knobs, plus ceramic storage containers and baskets. For the homeware fiends out there (that’s the majority of you!) you can find a selection of the stunning Zakkia range at Haven Trader in Palm Beach. This comes with a word of warning – you will want one of everything (we’re not joking).
