The Star Residences get set to hit the market

The hive of activity happening on Broadbeach Island (the home of The Star Gold Coast) won’t be slowing down any time soon. At the end of September, The Star Residences will be officially launched to the market, offering buyers the chance to live in an exclusive 53-storey integrated resort. Uh huh, that’s right – soon you’ll be able to actually live at The Star.

The $400-million tower, which will incorporate a mix of residential, hotel and retail offerings, will be developed adjacent to The Star’s existing five-star hotel and the all-new luxury six-star hotel, which is due for completion before the 2018 Commonwealth Games. The residential component of the new tower will comprise of 423 one and two-bedroom residential apartments across the upper 33 levels. In addition, there will be around 300 4.5-star hotel rooms over 13 levels, which will sit above a podium of new food and beverage offerings, retail and resort facilities, as well as car parking.

We know what you’re thinking – how much? Well, the one-bedders, which range in size from 54sqm to 66sqm, will be priced from $467,000. The two bedroom apartments, spanning from 71sqm up to 109sqm, will be priced from $668,500. Situated on the south-east side the the existing hotel complex, apartments in the tower will boast stunning beach and hinterland views. The Star Residences is being developed by the Destination Gold Coast Consortium, a joint venture between The Star Entertainment Group, Far East Consortium and Hong Kong-based Chow Tai Fook Enterprises. Completion is expected by 2021, pending successful apartment pre-sales. Jump over here for more info.
