Marriott International is set to open The St. Regis Gold Coast Resort in 2027

It seems the company is not one to rest on its laurels, as its now signed another agreement to deliver The St. Regis Gold Coast Resort in 2027. Here are all of the juicy details …
Sure it might be five years away, but with the announcement that Marriott International, Inc. has signed a management agreement with property development company GURNER™ to bring the St. Regis brand to Australia’s Gold Coast, we’re already planning our time off work for a luxe staycay. The hotel is set to be part of the first tower in the $1.7-billion La Pelago project – a premier lifestyle resort and destination located in the heart of Budds Beach, Surfers Paradise. La Pelago will feature 12,000-sqm of impressive lifestyle amenities including The St. Regis Gold Coast Resort, luxury residences and more than 5500-sqm of international hospitality and retail spaces.
The St. Regis Gold Coast Resort will join the ranks of the brand’s 49 luxury hotels and resorts found across the world. The St. Regis brand is known for its peak level of luxury – we’re talking lavish rooms, top-tier amenities and bespoke butler service. The Gold Coast resort is set to feature approximately 185 guest rooms and suites that offer sweeping ocean and hinterland views. There’s also plans for a specialty restaurant, a world-class sky bar, pool bar and lounge, and a spa, as well as a penthouse collection and signature St. Regis Bar. Talk about fancy!
The St. Regis Gold Coast Resort is anticipated to open in 2027 in the La Pelago precinct of Budds Beach in Surfers Paradise.
