Introducing The Oxley – Nobby Beach’s new high-end dining and lifestyle destination
‘Tis the season for balmy sundowners that slide merrily into food-filled evenings. In news that’s guaranteed to have your taste buds tingling, the Gold Coast’s newest (and one might argue, prettiest) dining and lifestyle destination The Oxley is set to open its doors next month. Here’s everything we know so far …
If you’ve driven along the Gold Coast Highway through Nobby Beach lately, it’s likely you spotted a glimpse of The Oxley coming to life. The 4000-sqm lifestyle precinct is being hailed as one of the city’s most anticipated new arrivals, delivering an elevated food and shopping experience. A celebration of culture, food and community, the precinct will feature a carefully curated collection of restaurants and boutiques, including a few familiar faces. While the specific details of the offering are being kept under wraps, we’re told the first element of the precinct will be The Oxley Village Grocer, an expansive 1000-sqm grocery experience that will see long-time local Steve of Gourmet Meats returning to the beachside suburb. Rounding out the grocer’s offering will be a juice bar and gelato shop.
The impressive precinct has been created by Daniel Veitch of Dankav Developments and designed by Mermaid’s BDA Architecture. The Oxley will feature light-filled laneways and coastal elements, think palm trees and lush greenery in abundance. “The Oxley represents the evolution of Nobby Beach, paying tribute to its rich history and embracing the old school Nobby’s feel, with the added convenience locals need now all in one central place,” said Daniel Veitch, managing director of Dankav Developments.
The Oxley’s official launch date will be announced in coming weeks, watch this space.
