HomeDay embraces the wonders of childhood with ‘mini mods’ for the humble home

If you’ve got young kids, it’s easy to have your household dotted in brightly coloured mis-matching wares with cartoon-themed fabrics. Newly launched Gold Coast brand HomeDay has taken a refreshing step away from traditional child-centric fabrics and designs with its rad little collection of ‘mini pods’ for kids.

HomeDay founders and Gold Coast locals Aleisha and Chenara have released the mini mods online in two variations – the standard fabric mini mod in both charcoal and pastel pink, and the deluxe mod in a modern brown leather-look material. What’s even better is that the HomeDay pieces are handmade right here on the Gold Coast. The unique mini mods are not only a comfortable and practical alternative for the little people, they’re also a stylish statement for your house … aka a homewares win-win.

The mods are designed with an understanding of children and everyday use, with premium materials and handmade quality to support the free movement of kids. In a nutshell, what you’re getting has been designed by mums who ‘get it’. To find something that is comfortable, practical and visually appealling for children is pretty darn rare – so we’re digging this new drop from HomeDay big time. There’s a new range in the works, which is set to be designed for the bigger kids and even adults, so keep your eyes peeled. Get yourself over to HomeDay’s Instagram to get on board.
