When homewares are genuinely handmade, it evokes a sense of integrity and appreciation because that one piece, which is going to add colour, warmth and definition to your home, was a creation of human hands. The Copper and Cross collection fills you with that exact sensation.

Fresh out of Byron Bay, the unique Copper and Cross creations are the eclectic brainchild of Laksmi Wilson, who set out to create a range of homewares and statement pieces based on texture, colour and raw materials – and they’re way cool. With bohemian styles and a Mexican flare, the collection showcases modern wares in the form of hanging woven crosses, chunga rounds, copper-wrapped bamboo arrows and soy-wax tin can(dles), with the unique pieces incorporating monochrome and metallic palettes and sharp splashes of colour.

The crosses and chunga rounds are hand-woven with the upmost precision, both acting as statement pieces to brighten your walls and connect a space with colour and vibrancy, whilst the iron-tipped arrows, at more than 80 cm long, are grouped together to create a striking feature. The latest addition to the range, the stunning soy-wax candles, are made, poured and sealed in the tin cans by hand. Follow Copper and Cross on Instagram for some serious homewares inspo, and check out the amazing range online.
