Chevron Island to reach new heights with Bliss On Chevron

The traditionally lowrise suburb of Chevron Island could reach lofty new heights if the development application for Bliss On Chevron is approved. The 30-level development will front Thomas Drive and Darrambal Street.

The proposed development will deliver 228 apartments to the popular island suburb ranging from studio units to three-bedroom suites plus five two-level townhouses. Bliss On Chevron, which has been put forward by HWI Saltwater and designed by BDA Architecture, has been tailored to suit owner occupiers with the inclusion of a cafe as well as resident-friendly features such as a drying and storage room on each floor for surfboards and bicycles. The building will have a three-level basement that will provide at least one park for each apartment as well as a podium level terrace that will include a residents’ lounge, gymnasium, barbecue area and a heated swimming pool.

If approved, the dwellings will range in size from 65 to 150 mand are expected to be priced from $310,000 to $750,000. Many of the apartments in the east-facing tower would have 180-degree views of the Surfers Paradise skyline, the ocean and the Nerang River.
