The 400 Co. brings spirit to the workplace
While working lads might be trapped in the predictable monotony of a suit dress code, fortunately the ladies have a little more room to move. New Brisbane label The 400 Co. is attempting to push the boundaries even further by injecting individuality into workwear.
When Brisbane lawyer Laura Chong grew tired of the staid nine-to-five workday wardrobe, she didn’t simply give up and blend in. The 27-year-old decided to launch her own label The 400 Co. and soon began designing garments that ticked the box of office-appropriate but also reflected individuality. Cosy wool dresses, military-style coats and silk blouses round out The 400 Co. range, which challenges the traditional business wardrobe – meaning you can venture beyond your office walls without fear of looking like a corporate carbon copy. The 400 Co. range is available online and at pop-up stalls around Brisbane. Laura will also be selling her wares at the Fortitude Valley Markets this Saturday July 13.
