Blacklake sunglasses

Nat Denning launches sunglasses label Blacklake

Known for her sharp eye for cutting-edge and handsome fashion pieces, Nat Denning has now turned her retail talents to design, creating accessories label Blacklake.

Crafted from natural horn sourced from African Yak and Indian Water Buffalo, each pair is unique in the frame’s inner grain, with no two pairs identical. Whether the yellowed, transparent horn paired with black arms, the yellow streaked with chocolate tones, or an all-black frame, these unisex designs continue to convey the nature-attached themes that feature so strongly throughout Fallow’s collections. Taking on a shape similar to a curved wayfarer, these classic frames are discreet with branding, as the Blacklake label is placed inside the right arm.

With a strong love for accessories and an idea for a label nibbling at the back of her mind, Nat has translated this passion firstly into sunglasses design. Made by the same manufacturer as used by Vivienne Westwood and Opening Ceremony, Blacklake sunglasses are not only made in good company, but stocked in good company too – available at Dirtbox, Fallow and Bessie Head.
