The pounding of drums and a line of excited shoppers snaking through the mall heralded the opening of UNIQLO on Queen Street, an arrival everyone has been waiting for with baited breath. Following on from the successful opening of UNIQLO’s first Brisbane store at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre in December 2015, the brand has upped the ante with a larger space that has been close to 18 months in planning and construction. The new store emphasises not only quality apparel but also excellent service, modelled of the global training standards first honed in Japan.

As part of the revitalisation of Broadway on Queen Street Mall, UNIQLO is made itself comfortable in a space measuring 2000 square metres spread over three levels. The brand’s full range of stock is on offer, including the popular selection of basics and outerwear plus collaborations with other brands such as Liberty London. The newest range on offer is UNIQLO’s activewear selection, which adds stylish shorts and running shirts to the brand’s already large array of items. UNIQLO’s popular Ultralight Down range is on offer in time for a cold weather shift with stock continuously being added as seasons change and collections are updated.
