If you’re itching to cure your case of wanderlust whilst sipping on a bevvie (or two), then Queensland’s first dedicated gin caravan should be your next temporary abode. From Friday April 9 until the end of June, travellers who book a long weekend (Friday to Sunday or Saturday to Monday) in The Botanist’s boozy caravan will be treated to a special gin surprise. The van, available to book on Camplify, will be kitted out with everything you need to get shaking and stirring some truly lip-smacking cocktails – including a complimentary 700-ml bottle of The Botanist gin, a four pack of Fever Tree Tonic Water, and other preserved ingredients.
The Botanist Van (also known as Salty the Caravan) is a vintage Viscount caravan that has been brought back to life and decorated with a cosy coastal aesthetic. Made for beachside holidays, The Botanist Van can be towed and set up for travellers headed to any destination within 50 kilometres of Tugun. Hiring this bad boy is cheaper than you think too – prices start from just $100 per day.
