In a win for stressed folk looking to indulge in a bit of self care, West Village has become the home for Gold Coast-born relaxation station Soak Bathhouse. The West End site was brought to life by Soak Bathhouse owners Alexis Dean and Niki Dean, who have spent the past 18 months planning and developing for Brisbane’s first rooftop bathhouse. The new West End location mirrors the original Soak Bathhouse in Mermaid Beach, which was recently awarded ‘Best of Queensland Experience 2022’ by Tourism and Events Queensland. Centred around communal relaxation and social bathing, Brisbane’s Soak Bathhouse will be a hub for relaxing and recharging – with some stellar city views to boot.
Perfect for those wanting to truly unwind and treat themselves, the rooftop bathhouse and wellness destination boasts seven mineral pools ranging from cold plunge baths to hot spas. There’s also a sauna, a steam room, several relaxation areas and a sundeck. Looking to level up your spa experience? Soak Bathhouse will offer extra pampering in the form of spa massages, LED facials and private infrared sauna sessions. With soak sessions starting from $49 per person for 90 minutes, this dreamy experience comes without the costly price tag usually associated with visits to wellness retreats.
