Introducing the new Secret Squirrel, Secret South

Long-time lovers of Sydney label Secret Squirrel may be temporarily saddened to hear of the brand’s name change, but those heartstrings will bounce back up upon laying eyes on the new collection. Secret South is the rejigged creation of couple Bri Cheeseman and Andrew Prince, delivering a refreshed and slightly more grown-up take on their well-known style.

While Secret Squirrel evoked memories of cute nostalgia and sweetly dressed girls whispering in corners, Secret South reflects how the label has grown in its short history, taking a rejuvenated and modernised direction. Described as the older sister to Secret Squirrel, Secret South radiates the usual understated contemporary design coveted by fashion followers in its spring/summer collection, Introducing.

Featuring a modern mix of softly tailored and feminine pieces, the Introducing collection sees a palette of cream, grey, navy, black and four original ornate digital prints translated into timeless separates and seasonal essentials. Timely to this new feel is also Secret South’s first foray into accessories, with the rich hues of orange and green in the unique prints dotting silk-cotton scarves and oversized clutches. See selected items in store at We Live Like This in Paddington or online at Style Milk.
