Treat yourself to a permanent jewellery experience at Sarah & Sebastian’s pop-up
In the words of Shirley Bassey, diamonds are forever. If you like the idea of permanent jewellery, get along to Sarah & Sebastian’s pop-up at The Calile Hotel during March and have a ten-karat gold chain seamlessly soldered onto your wrist. The pop-up is the first time the jeweller has ventured north following sell-out sessions in Sydney and Melbourne.
If you are not one to shy away from commitment and enjoy pretty things, appointments are now available for Sarah & Sebastian’s first ever Brisbane-based soldered sessions. The appointments have been amazingly popular in the southern states, and we’re willing to go out on a limb and suggest that Brisbane ladies (and gents too!) will also appreciate the fine gold embellishments. The bespoke jewellery experience starts at $160 for the plain chain or you can add an ethically sourced diamond for $240 or three for $400. The bracelet is custom fitted by one of Sarah & Sebastian’s artisan jewellers and is soldered permanently using a micro torch and then polished. The whole thing takes about 15-minutes but you’re left with something that will last.
In addition to the soldered sessions, Sarah & Sebastian’s Creative Director and Co-founder Sarah Gittoes will be in town hosting bespoke engagement appointments for bride-and-grooms-to-be and the label’s latest collection Siren will be on display for those who can’t quite commit to forever. The nautical-inspired range celebrates the ocean’s beauty and is designed to highlight the devastation caused to reefs and marine life by abandoned fishing debris known as ghost nets. Keen to get soldered? You can take a chance at a walk-in appointment but to avoid disappointment, jump over here to secure your spot ahead of time. Sarah & Sebastian pop-up will be positioned on the ground floor of The Calile Hotel from Friday March 13 to Saturday March 21.
