Queensland Reds and The Cloakroom

Queensland Reds dress to impress with The Cloakroom

The realm of dapper, bespoke fashion has infiltrated the sporting arena, as local team the St George. Queensland Reds partners up with tailoring maven, The Cloakroom. As part of an ongoing partnership between the team and the discerning gents behind The Cloakroom, the Reds has been kitted out in a new off-field uniform.

The only sporting team in the country to don completely custom-made suits, the Reds is taking its game a step further, commandeering attention on and off the field. The Reds’ new look comes in time for the upcoming Super Rugby season and the team’s 130th anniversary this year. Across two looks for the team, The Cloakroom worked with a colour palette that references the team’s heritage.

A three-piece charcoal formal suit is paired with a white button-up shirt and crisp pocket square and contrasted with a bold red tie for dinners and balls. While the second look is made up of a sharp navy pant, pink button-up and a pocket square to finish off the brown-chequered jacket for travel and casual events. Bespoke-fitted to each player’s measurements, the new off-field uniforms are accompanied by custom shoes from Spanish shoemaker Carmina, which has been operating since 1866.
