Find treasures at the QAGOMA Christmas Design Market
This weekend, a flurry of handmade wares and lovingly crafted goods come together at the QAGOMA Christmas Design Market – a platform for local artisans to showcase their crafty talent and one-of-a-kind goods.
Set alongside the GOMA Store, the annual market features unique gifts from local talent. Bringing together emerging and established independent artists and designers, the market is replete with bespoke creations and Christmas-themed treasures.
Shop for handmade and fine jewellery from Barbara Heath, Pip Keane and Liana Kabel, and ceramics by local artists Kylie Johnson of paper boat press, and Toni Park. Handmade stationery by Bespoke Letterpress and looseleaf paper will be on display, as well as textiles and clothing from Touchwood Designs, Edward & Lily and Ra Ra Superstar.
Other designers include Montelupo, Erin Lightfoot, Hot Toffee, Spun Mud, Jesikajack, Orange Sherbet, Design Studio Rock & Gold, Art from the Margins, O bliss Jewellery, erinswindow, Strat Designs and Hungry Designs. The QAGOMA Christmas Design Market will be held this Saturday at the Gallery of Modern Art from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
