Priory of Ten

Priory of Ten glides in to Bessie Head

Priories may have religious connotations, but the only link womenswear label Priory of Ten has in common with its namesake is the unwavering devotion of its fashion-forward followers.

New York-based Priory of Ten has plenty of international devotees, but its fan base has now spread to our fair shores, with exclusive Australian stockist Bessie Head unveiling the label’s latest collection. The brand launched in 2012 under the expert eye of designer Mei Liu, who previously worked at 3.1 Phillip Lim. Sharp tailoring, sleek silhouettes and minimalist stylings combine to offer a range that is elegant yet wearable.

The label’s spring/summer 2013 offering features a strong collection of tailored workwear as well as casual garments. Clean lines complement a muted colour palette, pairing white and black with bone and burgundy. While the label’s latest collection may have been designed with the warmer months in mind, these breezy pieces are perfect for Brisbane’s short-lived winter.

Browse the collection online or in-store at Bessie Head in the Wintergarden.
