Popup Kult joins the Winn Lane offerings

A new resident has moved in to Winn Lane, filling the pint-sized hole in the wall where Ruby & Prankstar used to dwell. Popup Kult is a new go-to for all your favourite high-end skatewear brands along with a fine selection of local labels.

As the name implies, Popup Kult is a pop-up store, with its Winn Lane tenancy expected to last for about two months. After this time, however, the shop will become a permanent fixture under the name The Streets and Squares Co., a destination for local and international streetwear and the shop’s namesake label.

Committed to unearthing local talent, Popup Kult will then travel about different cities, popping up in abandoned shopfronts to feature the skatewear threads of that town and usual suspects Durkl, Grand Scheme Co., 10Deep and Well-Dressed Vandals.

Josh Taylor-Anderson is the man behind both concept stores, working in events and film and television casting as his steady gig, and starting up a bunch of innovative, engaging projects for Fortitude Valley on the side. Drop by to inspect the badass goods of New York label Only, The Dairy iPhone cases and local tees by Shy Fox.
