Any fashion-forward individual will tell you that Australian designers are a big deal right now, and we’re inclined to agree. Paloma Boutique in Camp Hill is one of the newest stores to hit the scene, with racks filled to the brim with garments from cutting-edge designers and plenty of stunning jewellery and accessories to match.

Before taking time off to start a family, Silvana Abraham worked in the world of wholesale fashion. Despite not actively working in the field for many years, Silvana kept her ear to the ground, keeping tabs on the trends and shifts in the fashion industry so that she was primed and ready to get back in the saddle when she  could open her first independent venture. Silvana’s brand-new store Paloma Boutique – situated at the Camp Hill Marketplace – specialises in occasional womenswear, from fancy lunches and dinner parties to weddings, formals and races. Silvana has scoured the country for labels that offer fabrics that compliment a women’s body, without being too complicated to put on or take off.

Paloma Boutique currently stocks upwards of a dozen labels, with more to be added imminently. Each label imbues the heart and soul of the designer behind it, offering a more bespoke range compared to the large fast-fashion outlets. The designers are all Australian, with Silvana managing to snag a few labels before they can be found anywhere else. Labels such as Paddo to Palmy, Natasha Gan, Stevie May and Pasduchas can be found alongside jewellery makers Kitte and AJIE, with new additions expects every fortnight.

If you’re seeking a new piece or two to add to your wardrobe, pay Paloma Boutique a visit. You can find more details in the Stumble Guide.
