Local label Oxë releases a collection of jumpers

While the calendar may have only just flipped to June, a crisp winter chill arrived weeks ago. The Brisbane cold season is hardly the harsh affair that plagues southern states, but there is still a need for a few extra layers when the middle of the year rolls around. Gents can beat the chill with the help of a new batch of jumpers just released from local streetwear label Oxë.

Behind Oxë is a group of four young lads who resist the garish designs flooding the casual sector of the menswear market. Though only in their early twenties, the guys decided to create the basics they craved when forming their own label that features a range of cotton basics embellished with only the most simplistic of designs. Now the label is also introducing a range of basic jumpers to keep lads and ladies cosy while Brisbane cools down.

Oxë’s range of fleece-lined sweatshirts resembles those that you may recall sporting during your primary-school days, which have made their way back into popularity thanks to the present 90s-obsessed fashion climate. Minimalist designs are printed onto these classic shapes, including large triangles, circles and bears. There is also a hoodie option for those who prefer their winter woollies to come with a sense of anonymity.

Oxë jumpers are available for purchase via the brand’s website.
