Summer is on its way, the water is warming up and it’s time to get salty. If you’re a lady slider looking to add to your quiver, then get your fine self acquainted with Nusa Indah and its dreamy collection of bespoke surfboards, which are designed to nail the balance between aesthetics, functionality and handcrafted quality.

Nusa Indah Surfboards came to life in the New South Wales precinct of Forster at the creative hands of Jada McNeil, who has fuelled by her love of surfing and passion for design. From the age of five, Jada began riding the nose of her dad’s surfboard and spent most of her school holidays surfing the breaks of Indonesian islands. After having kids of her own, it was time for Jada to get back into the water. For motivation, she made a board for herself featuring a hand-stamped batik textile, which she documented on social media – and so Nusa Indah was born.

Since its inception, the Nusa Indah brand has collaborated with world-renowned designers and artists, including the likes of Jason GrimesLulu DK and Carla Sersale, to create a female-specific collection of surfboards that evoke a sense of adventure, creativity and freedom. The eye-catching surfboards are hand-crafted by expert shapers on the mid-coast of New South Wales, ensuring quality from nose to tail. The boards double as an intriguing art piece, too – so if you’re not into surfing, they also make for a unique addition to the walls of your home.
