New The Quiet Life at The Outpost, Fortitude Valley

Decks, baseball shirts, trucker hats, typography, photography, good tunes – it seems The Quiet Life’s Andy Mueller has life wrapped up in a perfect package customised to his passions, but which seems anything but quiet.

Working full-time at Girl Skateboards designing its deck graphics and art directing its shoe company Lakai Limited Footwear, Andy is also an avid photographer regularly contributing to Juxtapose magazine as well as running his small indie music label OhioGold Records. He’s one of those creatives with a thumb in every pie, who’s found what he loves and is filling his days with as much interesting work as he can.

What started as a side project for Andy in 1997, The Quiet Life is a go-to label for refined skate wear. Raised in mid-west America on a culture diet of BMX, skateboarding, music and magazines, Andy also curates The Quiet Life Camera Club, where people can upload their images online, with the best included in the annual Camera Club book.

Featuring anchors, crows, moustaches and great typography, the new range of The QL tees and hats are now at The Outpost in Fortitude Valley. Intelligent skater dudes with a Ricoh underarm, this one’s for you.
