Until now, Brisbane fans of nANA jUDY & Friends have been restricted to online purchases, a spattering of stockists and interstate sojourns, but the opening of the brand’s first Queensland flagship store this week heralds a new era for the Melbourne-based label. The new Ann Street store boasts hooks heaving with fresh denim, racks full of contemporary tees and even some cute items for your girlfriend.

The Fortitude Valley boutique joins only two other nANA jUDY stores in Australia, with the others being in South Yarra, Melbourne and Bondi, Sydney. Founder Glenn Coleman launched the cult streetwear and denim label in 2006 at the age of 19, and the brand has since earned a reputation for its forward-thinking designs and wild Fashion Week shows.
