Mr Simple opens its first Queensland store at Indooroopilly
While you may have been able to get your Mr Simple fix online or at Splendour in the Grass in the past, the Melbourne-based men’s outfitter has migrated north of the border, opening its flagship Queensland store at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre.
The label’s moniker is true to its roots – simple. Starting in Melbourne in 2008, Mr Simple was first created to focus on basics done well, with tees, sweats and chinos. Inspired by the Australian man – whether he preferred an urban or outdoors lifestyle – Mr Simple has now expanded to be ‘the complete gentleman’s outfitter’, still mastering the basics, but throwing in some tailored and statement pieces for good measure.
With stores in Melbourne, Byron Bay and New Zealand, Mr Simple has made its way up to Brisbane, opening its flagship Queensland store in Indooroopilly Shopping Centre. The store stocks Mr Simple clothing and accessories, as well as a range of items for the modern Australian man, including Casio watches and Herschel Supply Co. bags.
Mr Simple joins a wave of new retailers opening in the recently renovated centre, including Brooks Brothers, Stitch and Co, LouenHide and menswear specialist Déclic. Other Queensland firsts set to call Indooroopilly Shopping Centre home in the coming months include organic baby-clothing retailer Pure Baby, active-wear label Running Bare and Melbourne chocolatier Koko Black.
