If you love shiny finery and exquisite embellishments for your extremities, we have some exciting news – Molten Store is moving to a spacious new home on James Street and you’re invited to the housewarming! It’s on Saturday March 14 at 9:30 am – expect fresh blooms and lots of pretty things to peruse.

If you’re not familiar with the Molten Store story, let us fill you in real quick. Launched in 2011 via a series of (amazingly popular) pop-ups, Molten Store has been stealing our hearts on the regular with its ever-changing range of otherworldly jewels. Unlike other jewellery brands, Molten is based on a philosophy of closed-loop recycling, collecting one-of-a-kind vintage pieces to refurbish as new or extracting the gemstones and melting the precious metals to create new finery. Pretty neat, right? And that’s not even the best part – Molten Store offers a gold-swap initiative, so if you have some unwanted pieces of jewellery (like that bracelet from your ex), you can swap it for 100-percent of the value in store credit. New prettiness for you and less reliance on newly minted material for Molten, it’s win-win!

Molten Store’s new treasure trove is triple the size of its previous James Street home and has transformed the former Kit and Ace store into an apricot-hued dream. The new flagship will showcase Molten’s heavenly range of one-of-a-kind pieces alongside new jewels made from reclaimed gold and diamonds. That’s not all – there will also be a by-appointment annex. The annex is the second by-appointment space (they currently host their custom jewellery appointments at their Hamilton jewellery studio) and will begin taking bookings later this month. The doors will officially open Saturday (March 14) at 9:30 am so if you’re in the area, pop-in, enjoy a chilled beverage and meet the team – including Molten’s founder Jessy Cameron. Early birds will be treated to a complimentary bouquet of welcome blooms by Var Botanical – a Brisbane-based floristry business built on the notion of sustainable floristry. Take a peep at Molten Store’s collection online or pop into the James Street store – directions and opening hours can be found in the Stumble Guide.
