Local designers to strut their stuff at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane

Come August, our fair city is set to transform into a catwalk spectacular with the return of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane.

Mark August 23–28 in your diaries, fashion fiends – the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane (MBFF) is coming to town, and it’s tipped to be Queensland’s biggest fashion event of the decade. For the first time in the festival’s ten-year history, the general public will have the opportunity to purchase front row seats, which are normally reserved for MBFF partners, media and VIP guests.

Staged in the John Reid Pavilion at the Brisbane Showgrounds, the MBFF acts as a platform upon which local designers can showcase their fashions and connect directly with consumers. By showing collections at the same time they are launched in stores, fashion enthusiasts who spy a ‘must-have’ piece on the runway can purchase it almost immediately. Talk about instant gratification! Promising an exciting line-up of runway shows and other fashion-packed events featuring the best local and national designers, the MBFF is a must-attend event for any self-respecting fashion lover.

The full program of events and participating designers will be announced on the MBFF website on May 29 and tickets go on sale through QTIX on Monday June 1.
