Vinyl purists are salivating over these hardwood turntables created by Silvan Audio Workshop in Seattle, currently being funded via Kickstarter.

You don’t have to be an avid woodsman to appreciate a nice tree. Pine, mahogany or cedar – wood is one of the most popular furnishing materials for good reason. If you prefer to surround yourself with sturdy and authentic wooden furniture you should cast your eye towards this innovative piece of music technology. Silvan Audio Workshop is in the process of crowd-funding its own range of vinyl turntables, with a base made out of natural hardwood.

These turntables are the ultimate luxury item for those that value their vinyl collection. Each player is custom made with individually selected wood that is shaped and planed before fitted with audio components from Rega. From tonearm to glass platter, these turntables are made from the best materials, which is a testament to the skill and dedication of the father and son team at Silvan Audio Workshop. The Kickstarter project will help fit-out a new manufacturing space to better craft these exquisite turntables.
