Little Peach Co

The comings and goings of local letterpress wizards

Local letterpress darling Alischa Herrmann of Bespoke Letterpress is about to pack up her local studio and relocate to the Southern Highlands of Sydney.

And while her departure from Brisbane will evoke many a tear, her papier wares will still be readily available at Sourced Grocer, Biome and Avid Reader. To help Alischa clear out the cupboards before the move – shifting six tonnes of cast-iron printing beasts is enough hand luggage – head along to the Bespoke Letterpress pop-up warehouse sale in Bardon this weekend. A treasure trove of discounted stock and low-priced seconds, the Pop-Up Warehouse Sale will run Sunday December 16 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Jubilee Hall in Bardon.

New to the local letterpress scene is Little Peach Co., having just opened a studio and shop in Woolloongabba. Focusing on custom-made letterpress designs, Little Peach Co. crafts wedding invitations, business cards and stationery. The owners David and Cath Atkinson have combined their love for design, antique printing and paper stocks to work with letterpress, foil stamping and Verco-type thermographic printing. Creating each unique piece from scratch, Little Peach Co. can make as little as a single print to as large as a wedding’s worth of place cards.
