Vintage primping at the Lindy Charm School Pop-Up Salon
There was a time when being primped and polished to perfection was simply a part of daily grooming habits. Now a new pop-up salon at the Woolloongabba Antique Centre will be helping modern lasses to achieve this slick look of yesteryear.
From September through to December, a select number of Saturdays will see the lovely ladies from The Lindy Charm School make themselves at home amongst vintage posters, furniture and the cosy cafe. This Vintage Styling Pop-Up Salon will be offering Brisbane ladies tutorials on how to create vintage hair and makeup.
Attendees can follow in the stylish footsteps of Betty Page, Grace Kelly and glamazon Liz Taylor with shiny locks and defined curls. You can transform your look to one embraced by womankind in the middle of the century, when no amount of curling, pinning, pushing and spraying of coiffures would be too much effort.
With prices from $30, you can book in with a dedicated vintage stylist team for a one-on-one lesson on how to create a vintage look. Expect to find the ladies ready and waiting on the dates of October 14 and 20, as well as December 2 and 8. Bookings for the dates are essential and can be made on The Lindy Charm School homepage.
