Life Drawing at Jugglers Art Space

Try your hand at a Jugglers Art Space life-drawing class

Jugglers Art Space is hosting weekly life-drawing classes at its Fortitude Valley exhibition space.

The sight of a naked body can prompt a range of very different reactions – but if it inspires you to put pencil or paintbrush to paper, you can join like-minded fellows at Jugglers Art Space for life-drawing classes every Wednesday evening. From 7:00–9:00 pm, local creative sparks assemble at the Fortitude Valley arts venue and exhibition space to see what appears on the blank page before them when confronted with a nude life model.

If you’re concerned your lack of artistic skills has the potential to offend, you can call on the help of talented local artist and teacher Nic Plowman, who will be on hand to offer his guidance and advice. Nic certainly has a wealth of expertise to share, acting as an artist in residence at Jugglers since 2004 and being selected as a finalist for the Benalla Nude Art Prize, Brett Whiteley travelling scholarship and Doug Moran National Portrait Prize. Find inspiration in Nic’s series of life drawings and get in touch with Jugglers Art Space to secure your spot.
