Colour your world with bright and bold threads from Jericho Road Clothing
Creatively collaborating with your siblings can go one of two ways – magic or tragic. In the case of Jericho Road Clothing, Brisbane-based sisters Chloe and Kate have absolutely nailed the former dynamic. Since 2016, the duo has been cooking up collection after collection filled with bold prints, quirky designs and flattering cuts designed to be worn with confidence. The latest offering is dropping soon, promising to add a brand-new style to the label’s repertoire – and we’re pretty damn excited to see what it is.
Designed by the two sisters and ethically manufactured in China, the brand has been turning heads since its launch in February 2016. Jericho Road is immediately recognisable for its range of eye-catching prints and bold colour schemes, with motifs from cacti to cockatoos inspired by the duo’s upbringing in rural Queensland. Jericho Road’s current offering is made up of shift, bell sleeve, collared smock, wrap and swing dresses, with plans to launch tops, skirts, knitwear and more as the year goes on.
Knowing that versatility and practicality both go a long way in the fashion game, the brains behind Jericho Road have included a few little surprises in each range. Some of the dresses are cut to allow them to be reversible, meaning you can wear as either a v-neck or boat neck depending on what suits your mood that day. Another serious bonus is the fact that the garments have actual functioning pockets – ladies, need we say more? The label produces very small runs of dresses, with only 250 units made of any one design, ensuring pieces are limited edition and highly sought-after.
If you’re keen to kick it in some seriously cool threads, you can shop the Jericho Road Clothing range online or pop into The Happy Cabin to nab the goods. The girls will also be featured in next month’s Milton Mother’s Day Fashion Parade and Shopping Event alongside brands such as Frankie 4 Footwear and Boom Shankar.
