Paddington Up Late

Shop local this Christmas at Paddington Up Late

With work all week and weekends a usual flurry of good times, finding the time to tick off items on your Christmas shopping list can be terribly stressful. With the impending holiday now right around the corner, it’s time to gather your purse and take to the streets, shopping local at two Up Late events.

This Thursday November 29, the lower half of Latrobe Terrace in Paddington is staying open late, encouraging ladies and chaps from every suburb to flit about the vibrant street and shop local this Christmas. Eco, vintage and handmade wares are all on offer within the boutiques, with each store even supplying treats for late-night shoppers. From Champagne and canapes to sundaes and burlesque dancers, these indulgences are a great incentive to get your Christmas shopping done. Drop by Ra Ra Superstar and you’ll find hula-hoopers, eggnog cakes from Gillian Bell Cake Girl and music by O’ Little Sister. From 6:00–9:30 pm, pop by Hobohemia, Blake & Taylor, Retro Metro, Biome, Endos, La La Latrobe, AP Design House and Chercher La Femme.

The following evening will see James Street join the Up Late movement, staying open until 9:00 pm on Friday November 30. One-night-only discounts and special offers will entice shoppers, while carols by Reclink Transformers Choir and Christmas window displays will stimulate your festive spirit.
