Through Indepal, Pat now works with the skilfully crafted third- and fourth-generation leather masters of India to design and make a range of men’s, women’s, corporate and travel bags as well as accessories including belts, wallets and clutches. After working with a number of suppliers across India and Nepal, Indepal has found a supplier that has great design and crafting skills and meets Pat’s ethical standards for leather supply and manufacturing.

Indepal leather goods are made with love from genuine premium leather without any bonded, reconstituted or polyurethane additions. The Indepal designs and business philosophy is about being simple, earthy and real. The Indepal leather products are classic and timeless in design and evoke a feeling of history, as though they have travelled around the world a few times.

Pat feels humbled and knows he has a good product when he catches his customers in a moment with his bags. Running their fingers across the soft leather, taking in its scent or just displaying an admiring look … just like he did back in that village in India.
