Henty crafts handy travel bags for those on the go
Packing a suit or a dress for a long-haul trip or to and from the office is a hassle, especially if you like to keep your garments crease free. A Tasmanian bag brand is making travelling with your nice threads easy with a range of multi-purpose bags that can transport your wardrobe neatly without having to deal with unwieldy garment bags.
When moving from the gym to the office, or the office to the airport for an important meeting, conventional luggage solutions just don’t seem to get it. Clothes will get creased no matter how you choose to transport them, and garment bags only add an extra item to carry. Henty is the brainchild of Jeremy Grey and Jon Gourlay, who created the Tasmanian-based business and named it after a rugged area on Tasmania’s west coast. Henty creates durable and useful bags and backpacks that allow for greater ability to store delicate clothing items in one simple and modern package.
The Wingman is Henty’s signature multi-purpose bag, which allows for all weather commuting and a perfect amount of storage capacity with its two-in-one design. The tubular shape includes an outer layer for packing suits, dress shirts, dresses and other special clothing items, while an inner portion can fit shoes and accessories. Henty is at the tail end of a crowd-funding campaign for The CoPilot – a larger bag perfect for travel that takes the modular, two bag system to another level. Semi-rigid vertical ribs are used to set the diameter of the rolled bag, minimising creases on your clothes while still having space for a laptop and other tech devices.
