Gucci brings its luxe charm to QueensPlaza

With summer nearly over, we think it’s time for a wardrobe refresh. If you’re looking to add some luxe pieces to your collection, then we suggest taking a stroll through the city and stopping in at QueensPlaza. Home to boutique brands like Burberry, Bulgari, Chanel, Dior, Fendi and Louis Vuitton, the shopping destination has just added another jewel to its crown – luxury fashion house Gucci. Here’s a peek inside QueensPlaza’s new cabinet of curiosities …

The iconic Italian fashion label Gucci is the new kid on the block at QueensPlaza, opening its doors at the luxury retail precinct mere weeks ago. It’s the 11th addition to QueensPlaza’s treasure chest of shopping gems and the second store Gucci has in the city, with its smaller Edward Street counterpart still slinging opulent goods to sophisticated urbanites.

Combining industrial with romantic, the 3313 square foot store’s interior matches the elegance that characterises Gucci’s collections. Housed inside a Arabascato Orbico marble facade, the store is brimming with herringbone wooded interiors, a black and white hand-painted parquet and dusty pink and dark grey matelassé velvet armchairs. If you can peel your eyes from the plush decor, you’ll also discover a wide selection of men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, accessories, watches, jewellery, eyewear and fragrances.

Eager shoppers can find Gucci’s new QueensPlaza store at 226 Queen Street in Brisbane City.
