Run by Paul and Christine Norris, Grand Ideas Salvage Emporium sees Paul also employ his builder skills, repurposing factory boxes into furniture and industrial materials into wall-sized metal screens. Set next to new shipping container cafe The Grande Caffé, Grand Ideas also stocks a large collection of salvaged French doors, leadlighting and architectural elements to add a recycled touch to your home. The majority of the store’s collection comes from Australia with the odd European or further abroad must-have piece catching the avid collector’s eye.

Metal lockers can be transformed into cupboards, a luggage rack from a train becomes a coat stand and a myriad of boating accessories can become interesting wall features around the home.
