Under the direction of uncompromising watch engineer Eugène Meylan, Glycine strove for perfection, introducing the world’s first fully functional self-winding watch in 1931. Its classic Incursore design set the trend for large-face watches, which has been replicated ever since.
Brisbane Vintage Watches is now a local stockist of some of the brand’s most popular pieces, including the adventure-ready Combat, a rugged timepiece first released in the 1960s.
