Hair-savvy gents will be well aware of the boutique barbershop located in Morningside, but Bare Bones’ latest addition is a whimsical pop-up barbershop to be held once a month in Woolloongabba.
This is the perfect opportunity from non-locals of their usual digs to pay the guys a visit at their temporary home at the Woolloongabba Antiques Centre. For the perfect opportunity to transform your look and sculpt that distinctive pompadour, head in on the last Sunday on every month, beginning on March 25.
From 10: 00 am to 4: 00 pm the boys from Bare Bones will snip, trim, comb and pomade your locks into your dream style. So pop along for a cut and style but be sure to take a friend so as to take advantage of the prizes to be won in the form of a ‘best jive’ competition. If dancing isn’t your strong point, enjoy the intriguing collection of antiques available or a tasty milkshake at the accompanying cafe. Haircuts will be cash only, so visit an ATM before taking a seat in the barber’s chair.
