Forget the bar tab at your local pub – The Garden Lounge at Brisbane Powerhouse is going to blow your previous party planning efforts right out of the water. The Powerhouse gang has teamed up with local legends Hire Republic and Wine & Dine’m to create the arty-party space of your dreams, creating a top-to-toe immersive event experience – all you need to do is bring your crew. The actual space will be popping up outdoors on the Powerhouse lawns, taking full advantage of our steamy summer nights.
So what can you expect when you make a booking for The Garden Lounge? Let us set the scene – panoramic river views dotted with dreamy outdoor festoon lighting will be your backdrop for a sprawling marquee set up with all of the trimmings. Guests can saunter over to the cocktail lounge bar for a selection of sophisticated sips, while interactive food stations will keep any hunger pangs at bay. Depending on your vibe, you can choose between a DJ or a live band for your evening’s entertainment, as well as giant lawn games for some extra fun. The Garden Lounge is a limited-time pop-up – it will be running at Brisbane Powerhouse exclusively between November 13 and December 21.
