Find a new favourite tee in the Flux winter collection

When the weekend rolls around, casual comfort is at the forefront of our wardrobe-rummaging mind, making pulling out some denim and a favourite tee a favourable option. Insert: Flux. This Melbourne label has been kicking along for more than ten years now, crafting everyday threads perfect for weekend happenings.

After meeting at punk gigs in the 1980s, Flux creators Denis and Julian formed a tight bond, leading to the brand’s inception in 1999. Inspired by rare vintage menswear, abstract art, innovative graphic design and the punk movement, Flux wares are designed and made locally in Melbourne. Each pair of jeans is hand-sanded, drilled, rubbed and washed, with attention to detail a key element of the brand.

The new winter collection from Flux sees t-shirts in basic tones of white and grey with text-based prints, with stripes and tie-dye also featuring. The new season jeans see a camo print join traditional blue denim fabrics, with button-ups, pullovers and bomber jackets perfect for layering in the cooler weather. With the brand stocked at Principessa and Universal Store in Brisbane, keep an eye out for these new threads when the collection drops in May.
