Fête magazine transitions from digital to print
In an age where most publications are packing up their printers and switching to online, a South Australian publication has shifted from a digital flipbook to the paper form. Having produced just six free bi-monthly online issues, Fête has now made the move to the tangible, with hard copies of the beautifully designed magazine scattered about town.
Produced in Adelaide, Fête focuses on entertaining and celebrating – from the food and flowers present on a table setting to styling entire poolside picnics and dinner parties. The first summer issue came out in mid-December and has already sold out online. Between the crisp white pages, readers will find features on the likes of packing the perfect picnic lunch for two and setting up a garden party.
Packaging up their love of hosting a neat soiree with the dilemma of always being short on time, entrepreneur and stylist Annabelle Kerslake and designer Jane Cameron pooled together their creative genius to form a magazine that speaks to those who enjoy gathering together loved ones for a good meal and a bit of fun.
