This up-and-coming Sunshine Coast designer has unveiled a new range of stylish goods that are perfect for exploring the world around us.

Felicity Cooney studied the ins and outs of fashion at Parsons, The New School For Design in New York before returning to her beloved home to work on designs that would be shaped into her first collection. In time for summer 2016, Felicity has unveiled a new range of leather sandals and tote bags that mix vibrant colours with sturdy construction. This range draws inspiration from beachside holidays and casual weekend wanderings, with comfort and functionality blending seamlessly with style.

All orders are custom made, with unique touches added throughout the progression. Her sandals are created using a process that includes sketching, pattern making and taping, with an emphasis on sustainable manufacturing. Felicity makes her goods using kangaroo leather and cowhide sourced from a Brisbane tannery.  Check out this video to see how Felicity Cooney’s goods are made, then head online to have a browse at the wares up close.
