For the true film buffs – stream independent flicks and documentaries with new on-demand service FanForceTV

Online streaming services have truly been a saviour for all of us in self-isolation, bringing hours upon hours of enthralling, binge-worthy content to our television screens. In the thick of the coronavirus outbreak a new platform has come to life – FanForce TV – which offers keen streamers and avid movie buffs a carefully curated selection of independent films and documentaries.

Film distributor FanForce, known for its cinema-on-demand platform where you can request to screen films in your local cinemas and community centres, has recently sprouted its new streaming arm FanForce TV to enable viewers to stream movies and documentaries on a pay-per-view basis. The streaming service supports independent social-impact films and, to set it apart from the rest, also adds on a bunch of extra bonus content for those who really want to throw themselves deep into the vortex.

There are two ways to enjoy FanForce TV. You can simply search the library, rent the movie you like and stream away, or the true film buffs can purchase a ticket to a ‘home premiere’, which takes the film-viewing experience to a new level. The home premieres are scheduled on certain dates and times and, on top of access to the film, you’ll be loaded up with online resources like Q&As with expert panellists, information packages, behind-the-scenes footage and links to the online forums. Ready to watch now in the FanForce TV library are titles like Oscar-winning black-comedy thriller Parasite, acclaimed Australian documentary Gurrumul, moving portrait of same-sex families GAYBY BABY and many more. Keep an eye on the coming soon section, with unmissable films like Food Fighter (an independent documentary featuring OzHarvest CEO Ronni Kahn) and Camino Skies – a film that follows the journey of six strangers embarking on the historic 800-km Camino de Santiago pilgrimage – also set to hit your screen.

So much content, so much time to enjoy it. Find out more about FanForce TV here.
