Everingham & Watson open new online store

Everingham & Watson is changing perceptions about what Australiana means. After a successful pop-up shop in December last year, Everingham & Watson is opening an online store of Australiana-themed handmade wares.

In a classic palette of the reds, yellows and greens of the land, the range features products sourced from around the country and overseas as well as local makers’ creations. Run by dedicated rummagers Susie Everingham and Liz Watson, the pair combined their backgrounds and interests in visual arts and interior and graphic design, and over many a cup of tea, decided to create this new Brisbane-based venture.

Susie and Liz have designed their own line of original E&W items, including hand-printed tea towels, stationery, jewellery and pineapple and Australian-shaped blackboards – a very fitting addition to any Queenslander’s kitchen. They’ve also commissioned local makers for specific pieces, such as ceramic bowls, vases and milk bottles by a talented Brisbane potter in the Everingham & Watson signature Australiana palette. Leif body products, Falcon enamelware, children’s books by local illustrator Chris McKimmie and Australian flag cushions also feature.

Attend the launch even at 2/33A Logan Road, Woolloongabba on May 31 from 6:00 pm or pop online on June 1 to see the collection in its new online home.
