Envy Clothing brings sustainable approach
Not all clothes are created equal. Local label Envy Clothing is bringing an eco-friendly mindset to casual menswear.
If you care about the cloth on your back, the organic cotton and bamboo pieces from boutique surf/streetwear line Envy Clothing will not only sate your sartorial appetite but also earn you a few green ticks on the sustainability wishlist. Designer and founder Julien Pearce combines an environmentally responsible approach with a knack for good design, cutting a range of tees from 100% organic cotton and bamboo.
Originally hailing from the shores of Byron Bay, Julien has designed a collection of simple but dapper shirts from his adopted hometown of Brisbane. Well-cut shirts have been crafted from lightweight, soft and sustainable fabrics and designed to achieve a worn look over time. The basic bamboo tee boasts in-built thermo regulation and antimicrobial agents to help keep you cool through the summer months and avoid that aromatic build-up of bacteria that is rife in the sweaty season. The classic cotton pocket tee and long-sleeved cross jersey are also ideal for summer wear.
