Crackling Candle Co. make candles and wax melts from 100% natural soy wax, which lasts longer and is cleaner due to the absence of chemicals. Nadine Clark started Crackling Candle Co. as she couldn’t find anyone in Australia who supplied wooden-wick candles and was keen to introduce our country to the experience of plantation timber wooden wicks in candles.

Wooden wicks heat up faster and in combination with the quicker melting soy wax, the candles burn evenly to avoid ‘wax potholes’ meaning the wicks remain upright. In addition to candles and melts, Crackling Candle Co. also makes reed diffusers. All the products are triple scented (triple the amount of scent than the standard candle) and come in fragrances such as fig and cassis, coconut lime, frangipani, french pear, vanilla bean, lavender, cucumber and sage, amber and sandalwood, black raspberry and lemongrass.

Crackling Candle Co. has a very relaxed and ambient stall at both The Collective Markets at South Bank each Saturday and Sunday and at the Red Hill Farmers Market.
